Coimbra Viva

Revitalization of a historic centre.
Coimbra Viva

Contributing to the progressive restoration of one of the historical UNESCO-protected Portuguese centres, the upgrade in three blocks in Coimbra involved recognition of the characteristics of each building in order to preserve their unique character. All the interiors were therefore rethought to highlight existing elements such as floors, wooden stairs and old partition walls that could be recovered, to reformulate apartments with history.
